So to start, the most recent event I am excited for is the 8th grade Six Flags Trip! I am so excited I have never been to Six Flags before but this will be Mia first time and I hope it goes great. Everyone describes the rides and everything about it and it just gets me more excited. The following event is the 8th grade Dinner Dance. Basically, the Dinner Dance is a place where the sooo. to be graduating 8th graders go to dine and dance the night away. I am so excited for that because I really love food and I know there is about to be some of that really good food that you can not just go to the store and buy. I know there is not going to be that "family birthday" party food, where they have grill hotdogs and burgers and they bring that big Walmart  family size bag of chips such as Doritos, Lays, or Cheetos. I am greatful for many things and it is hard to just list them and not being able to explain the meaning of why I am thankful for them so today I have chosen one thing I am thankful for and go into full detail about it and so today's thankful blog is about my mom. I am thankful for my mother for many reason. So many I can't list them all without adding more and forgetting a few things. So to start, I am thankful for my mom because my mom and my siblings have been through a lot together she was our support and the person that kept us all together as one and strong. She is absolutely gorgeous, she has a beautiful smile and very eye catching eyes. She is not only beautiful on the outside but she is beautiful on the inside. She is very kind, intellectual, and happy. She looks for the positivity in everything, she makes you laugh no matter what the state you're in. I really don't do much when it comes to breaks this year due to my mom having a new job. Although, I did read, watched my favorite shows on tv, eat delicious food, go to stores with my mom, and play outside. When next year comes my mom said that we will be able to travel on the breaks because she will be promoted soon. I can't wait because I only have traveled to Wisconsin and Florida and that was when I was very young like 5 or 6 so I eally don't remember much. If I were able to pick where we can travel I would say Florida, Wisconsin, New York, and Texas. We would only travel in state because half of my family is in the U.S. some are in Florida, Texas, and New York. I would like to travel to Wisconsin because it is closer and I hear good things about especially about Wisconsin Dells. Now I have a question for you my reader who is reading this very blog post right now. Where would you like to travel to? 

"I Am The Messenger" is a book about a guy who is 19 years old and does not live an eventful life. His life is pretty boring he is a cab driver, he plays card games (which to mention he is not really good at) almost every night, and he likes his best friend who he will never get. Soon his life gets eventful when he is caught between a bank robbery. That is when it all starts. Soon after the incident happened he gets a playing card in the mail it lists a few things. (I will not tell you because you need to read the book to find out.) After he figures out what the things stand for, he receives many more playing cards until he has all the aces to each suit.  I would suggest this book to people who like realistic fiction and mystery. Overall, the book was really enjoyable and I could not stop reading it, if you do think about reading the book I recommend that you do it in a time that you read when your entire day is free and all you can do is relax and read for awhile becaus...

The " Life is Beautiful" film was a very phenomenal film. It was very touching and very funny. Some connections I have had with the film and some recent pieces of literature I have read in class were that both of them took place in the time of World War 2. They both talked about German's being the superior race, Jewish people were not accepted in society, and there was a lot of killing and families being partied. Some differences they had wad the message of each piece was different. In the film it was more about a personal story and how a family fought for survival when they were put into the concentration camps, but for the literature it was more broad and it talked about all the events in the Holocaust not just a single realistic part of it.  The mood of both pieces were similar because they are both very sad stories about the Holocaust and all the survivors stories are very sad too. A big event that is happening in my life right now. ( Technically, soon gonna happen.) Is my favorite prima is going to be getting married. She is like an older sister to me, she is easy to relate to, she is funny, and crazy. Now, to see her getting married is very important to me because I know this man that is going to be in her life for a great amount of years and he is going to treat her right. She wanted me to stand up in her wedding but my parents told me no because if I were to I would have to stand up in the wedding it would have been with a 17 year-old boy! I was kind of shocked because I would have not even known the boy and it would have been extreamly awkward! Other than that I am really excited for this wedding it is going to be in a few months and everything is going the way she wants it to be.
