A Slice of My Life

An upcoming event that is coming up this weekend is my baby brothers' birthday! You may know about him I have talked about him in my blog before multiple times. I will recap a little bit about him so I can save the time of you going back and recalling all the blogs I metioned him in. So my baby brother is a little 2 year old, curly haired, crazy, sand loud little baby. He has so much character and he is really loving. He will make you laugh at any given moment (guaranteed). He is very athletic and  very smart. He gave me the nicknames "Lala" and "Lyla". He mostly calls me "Lala". I got that nickname due to him not being able to say my name "Laysa" pronounced "Lyza". I love him with all my heart and soul and I cannot imagine life without him

 So, back to the point my baby brother is turning 3 this weekend! And I am so excited because he is finally turning 3, I feel like he has been 2 forever. I'm also excited for his birthday because all my family is going to be there and my house is going to be packed! We are going to have a jumpy house, food, and music. Basically, all the things that are going to be at a house full of Dominicans and Puerto Rican's. All in all, I am really excited for this party and I can't wait to see al my family again!

The Dreamer- Pam Munoz Ryan and Peter Sis

The book " The Dreamer" is about a little boy named Neftali and he has a very big imagination, he likes collecting things most people wouldn't, and he has a gift for writing. Although, his father believes he is sick in the head, he is not strong enough to be called a boy, and he will not amount to anything in life. Neftali is a lot like his deceased mother and that is part of why his father gets so short with him. He believes living life in pure profundity is the way to go, But according his father that is the complete opposite. In order to see how his life turned out you'll have to read the book yourself. I would recommend this book to people who like fiction and really relatable books. I would also suggest this book to people who would want to read soemething they have never read before.

Tips To Make Me a Better Blogger

    Some tips I think that will be benificial to my blog and my blogging techniques are adding pictures and being more descriptive. I chose to use more images because I love non-boring and visual things and when I looked over my blog it looked extreamly boring without visuals. I think if I add images my blog will appear more attractive and entertaining. Another tip I believe I should follow on my blog is being more descriptive. When describing a visual I want my readers to see what I am seeing. I believe I should be more clear and descriptive when writing about a visual so my readers can be more understanding of what I am talking about. And therefore, those are all the things I want to work on to make my blog even more.
