My favorite quote has to be  " Keep your head up. God gives his hardest battles to his strongest soldiers"  This quote is my favorite quote because it has helped me through a lot. When I thought I can not go through with something I just thought of this quote and it helped me. This quote also reminds me of my mom because she has always supported me and always told me to never give up. She also always said to believe in myself and when I didn't, just know your family does. I always was taught to know that God always has a plan. If you feel like your in a bad situation, keep your head up try to make the right decisions, and know that eventually it will past, because God is always there.

This is not going to be like any of my regular blog post. This post is going to recognize those I love and thank the most. The ones that guided me to the light when I was in the dark.  To start, I am going to start off with my most special and the one I most deeply love, my mother. She is something so worth thanking, she has been through thick and thin with me and she is the most strongest, persevered, and beautiful person I know. I am thankful for my mom because she does so much for me and she always loves me no matter what. I can not do anything in the world to show my mom the gratitude that she deserves. Well to start, I hear a lot of people who are older than me, saying that it was a very different election. I wasn't alive when all these others elections had occurred but, I honestly think elections are nothing but candidates trying to bring each other down, by only saying the negative things or one side to things about others so people won't vote for them. Sometimes what the candidates say are false facts and sometimes they are true, but they exaggerate the truth. Although, the candidates do have goals like the rest of us U.S. citizens. They have a goal or a accomplishment they want to achieve and they feel like the only way they can do that is by bringing each other down one by one. To be honest, I really thought nor Hilary Clinton or Donald Trump were good enough to be president. The best day ever actually happened a couple days ago. I was watching the World Series Chicago Cubs versus Cleveland Indians. As I watched the game I kept getting anxious every time the Indians tied up with the Cubs. I could hear my mom behind me, screaming and making comments about the players. My baby brother was in the other room sleeping and I would have not been surprise if he would have woken up. " Oh my god, he is so stupid!" That's all I kept hearing. My mom knows a lot about baseball, but let me tell you if she were to play the sport she would not be good at it.     The Oktoberfest is not actually celebrated in October in Berwyn. It is celebrated in September usually around the dates the 14th through the 16th. The Oktoberfest is a festival that celebrates the Halloween spirit. It is not only open to the citizens of Berwyn it is open to anyone who would like to join. There is several things you can do during the Oktoberfest. You can go to the bar they have, you can go on the rides, or you can go and watch a live band perform. A girl from Heritage Middle School said "It is such an amusing event, I really like going to the fest with my friends ". The Oktoberfest celebrates the Halloween season with rides, food, and haunted houses. Throughout the Fest music is being played, it can be heard from a mile away.     The Oktoberfest is known for going all out on its halloween themed carnival.
