The Oktoberfest is not actually celebrated in October in Berwyn. It is celebrated in September usually around the dates the 14th through the 16th. The Oktoberfest is a festival that celebrates the Halloween spirit. It is not only open to the citizens of Berwyn it is open to anyone who would like to join. There is several things you can do during the Oktoberfest. You can go to the bar they have, you can go on the rides, or you can go and watch a live band perform. A girl from Heritage Middle School said "It is such an amusing event, I really like going to the fest with my friends ". The Oktoberfest celebrates the Halloween season with rides, food, and haunted houses. Throughout the Fest music is being played, it can be heard from a mile away.

For the kids, they have rides such as The Remix, Spinning Spooky Cups, and The Scary Drop. Witnesses have said that they love the Oktoberfest and they would love to go year after year. "The Oktoberfest is such a great way to get out of the house and do something with the family," said a parent. " It is really fun to take your kids there to have fun".
