The Buzz about Berwyn's Famous Oktoberfest.

    The Oktoberfest is not actually celebrated in October in Berwyn. It is celebrated in September usually around the dates the 14th through the 16th. The Oktoberfest is a festival that celebrates the Halloween spirit. It is not only open to the citizens of Berwyn it is open to anyone who would like to join. There is several things you can do during the Oktoberfest. You can go to the bar they have, you can go on the rides, or you can go and watch a live band perform. A girl from Heritage Middle School said "It is such an amusing event, I really like going to the fest with my friends ". The Oktoberfest celebrates the Halloween season with rides, food, and haunted houses. Throughout the Fest music is being played, it can be heard from a mile away. 

    The Oktoberfest is known for going all out on its halloween themed carnival. They are  known for having a pub for the adults to celebrate Halloween with different colored drinks. For the kids, they have rides such as The Remix, Spinning Spooky Cups, and The Scary Drop. Witnesses have said that they love the Oktoberfest and they would love to go year after year. "The Oktoberfest is such a great way to get out of the house and do something with the family," said a parent. " It is really fun to take your kids there to have fun". Thats how the parent described the fest. "Laughter, Rides, The smell of freshly popped popcorn, and music being played is what you hear at the Berwyn Oktoberfest. "Go ahead and make a stop by next year!!!

Well this blog post goes mostly out to my blog buddy Mia. I wish you the best at your graduation and good luck with your speech and I hope you have a memorable summer. Thanks for being my blog buddy this year and writing very sweet comments to me. I would like to suggest to you that you should pursue in a writing career because you are a really good writer. Never change who you are, and you are a really nice person. Your writing has changed so much from when I first saw your blog post. Character Analysis From "The Outsiders"~ SodaPop Curtis

SodaPop Curtis is the second eldest brother out of the Curtis brothers. He is movie-star handsome and is very sweet. Soda is a high school drop out and he is not proud of it. He works at the DX gas station so he can make a living for his other brothers. SodaPop is a very optimistic person he is always smiling or joking around. He is really not good at disciplining his brother PonyBoy like the eldest brother Darry is. SodaPop really does not take life serious he lives for the moment but he is serious when it comes to important  situations. SodaPop Curtis changed throughout the book by acting more of his age and controlling over his brother PonyBoy because he does not want his brothers life to be endangered ever again. I like everything about SodaPop but some key things I like about him are, his personality and his perspective on life.
